The Honda TRX250X is an agile ATV that offers an impressive performance and remarkable handling. This model features a 229cc air-cooled OHV longitudinally mounted single-cylinder 4-stroke engine. For control, the Honda ATV includes the Honda Sport Clutch and the 5-speed transmission with Reverse. The engine is mounted to the front, giving the rider a stronger feel of the performance when in motion.
The TRX250X also offers incredible handling with its suspension. In the front, the ATV includes the Independent Double Wishbone Suspension, and in the rear is the Swingarm Single Shock. With all the components and fluids, the TRX250X weighs 384 pounds. Riders have the option of choosing Active Yellow or Red as their preferred color.
Riders and racers looking for something a little lighter, with more agility along with an impressive display of power, may want to consider the TRX90X Honda ATV. This model includes the 86cc air-cooled SOHC single-cylinder 4-stroke engine. This engine comes paired with the Automatic Clutch 4-speed transmission, giving riders a sporty handling to add to its impressive performance and abilities.
This Honda ATV includes the front Independent suspension and the Swingarm Single Shock holding up the rear, adding the fun bounce during jumps and hilly trails. Collectively, with all the components in place and the fluids topped off, the TRX90X weighs 263 pounds, almost 120 pounds less than the TRX250X. This model is available in Red or Olive colors.
While both of these Honda ATVs offer some impressive performances and abilities, they’re both in different weight classes, which means certain age restrictions for the rider. Since the TRX250X weighs 384 lbs, it’s recommended that riders 16 years or older be in charge of handling the ATV. The TRX90X is lighter and designed for riders 10 years or older, however, parental supervision is still highly recommended for inexperienced riders.
